“ The sauce was a little sweet. It's a thinner crust and crispy. The restaurant is easily spotted from the road. There is a little game area when you walk in and you can play pool or air hockey. I believe pool is free to play. The staff was super nice and so helpful bringing stuff to us at the high tops. Not my favorite pizza but definitely did the trick after a few hours in a car. ”
“ It shouldn't be shocking to find such warm and inviting customer service these days...but yet I am always surprised. We were up at IV for a Labor Day family weekend and we kind of fell into Rookies by perusing the internet. My daughter called the place and had quite a few (annoying) questions... the phone call was answered by Easy and he was patient, kind, and helpful. We ordered food "to go" and we were greeted with such warmth when we came I. To pick up our dinner! The salads we ordered were huge and the five different pizzas were phenomenal... I don't think we had a consensus which pizza we loved most. If you like thin crust specialty pizzas, this is your place! ”

“ We we're vacationing at the Lake Tahoe area & saw this pizzeria/sports bar, quite skeptical at first coz it's a bar not a legit pizzeria. Took our chances & were not disappointed! Not quite busy but on point with our orders. Crust was just right, salad was delicious, onion rings great & huge! The person that took our orders was pleasant... one thing : I tried calling to pre-order but no one answered:0( I would give it 4 stars. ”
“ Rookies just got better! An amazing addition. Pizza was fresh and delicious, and my friends sub looked amazing as well. I got the Dimaggio (I think) which has sausage and pepperoncini. Delicious. Crust is light and slightly crispy. I did get the personal 8" so it is harder to cook good crust, but they did great. Bullpen is inside Rookies, so you can order from their menu when at the normal restaurant. Don't order the pizza off the Rookies menu; ask for the separate Bullpen menu. I believe you can call and order just from the Bullpen for to-go orders, and they are in one of the easiest to access parts of Incline. You can also use Tahoe Deliver. Rumor I heard is the "owner" of Bullpen had a pizza place in Kings Beach and in Connecticut, which is delicious, but he sold them and is now open in Rookies. That being said, they have prior knowledge and experience, and they make an awesome pizza. ”
